What time is it??? It’s
Thank you for the love, shares, and positive comments concerning my MM posts! It’s week 3, and this week’s Makeover Monday is with Crystal C.!
Crystal is a feisty, caring, and loving mother to her adorable son. She really wanted a change, so I added a color and cut to her new look! Crystal’s hair is gorgeous, but her layers were shaggy and her color completely grown out. I grabbed my foils, bleach, lowlight color, and went to town!
I wanted to give her highlights, but with dimension and I chose a warm, copper blonde to achieve that look. After completing her color, I balanced and corrected her cut by creating soft layers. She didn’t want bangs, so I slightly chipped away on what she already had going on in the front, but stayed true to keeping it soft.
After blowing out her hair, I moved on to her makeup. Crystal likes the idea of makeup, but like most, would love to learn more about how to apply it. She doesn’t describe herself as “girlie”, but she is interested, and ready to begin a makeup routine. Crystal was really ready for a change, and I’m happy that I was able to give her this makeover! Want to see how she looks?? Okay, here we go!!
I loved how her color turned out! I didn’t have to tone her highlights because I used my special shampoo mix!! You can read about it in my 5 Hair Hacks All Blondes Should Know post HERE. It’s hair hack #2!!
Crystal lost her beloved father a year ago. Her heart has been heavy, but she’s a fighter! She doesn’t give up, and she goes above and beyond to be EVERYTHING for her son. Her smile that day made me happy and I looked at this strong woman with admiration. Admiration for her strength, dedication to her child, and her will to continue on. Big hugs Crystal!!! Xoxo!!!
Oh, and she’s single! Woot, woot!! lol! I’m soooo in trouble for that!!! love ya C!! lol! As always, products used will be listed below!!
